3-story cocktail bar among Napa’s BottleRock Fest attractions

NAPA, CA – As the BottleRock Festival returns to Napa after a one-year hiatus in 2020, the musical acts that will perform to sold-out crowds for three days over the upcoming holiday weekend will not be the only attraction.

Guns N ‘Roses, Foo Fighters, Miley Cyrus, Megan The Stallion, G-Eazy, Cage The Elephant, Young The Giant, Milky Chance, Finneas, Village People, Jimmy Eat World are just a sample of the artists who will be performing at the so anticipated BottleRock Napa Valley Music, Food & Art Festivalat the Napa Valley Expo.

But among the unique vendors offering a variety of food and drink to festival-goers, there’s a bar that offers handcrafted cocktails. Hendrick’s Gin’s three-story structure is sure to turn heads, according to company brand ambassador Vance Henderson, who said it was hard to miss the libation station.

“When festival-goers see Hendrick’s 3-Story Bar for the first time, it’s a magical moment of surprise and delight,” Henderson told Patch in an email Tuesday. “It’s not every day you see a bar of this size – especially at festivals – so there is an element of curiosity around what we do and serve, but it has been well received. “

The three-story bar will feature a trio of $ 17 cocktails, all featuring Hendrick’s Gin. The tallest bar on the site will be located next to the Williams-Sonoma dining scene and will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Making sure the bar isn’t overlooked amid a crowded stage that drew more than 120,000 visitors in 2019 is part of the strategy, Henderson said. The large bar will be part of the scene of a festival that has already been pushed back from May due to an increase in positive coronavirus cases caused by the delta variant of the virus.

“The height and size of the 3-story bar is key to standing out in a place like the Napa Valley Expo,” Henderson said in the email. “Between the crowd and all the stages it’s easy to blend in, but here at Hendrick’s we like to stand out and have had great success doing the unusual. With our activation you can look skyward and see our the most unusual libation station.

“Our goal is to make the 3-Story Bar as spectacular a spectacle as possible. In addition to serving oddly refreshing craft cocktails, we have performers and giveaways to make the bar stop look like the experience. Hendrick’s complete, and even more useful. All of these have contributed to our success, and it’s wonderful to know that people are excited to see us and stop by. “

Festival visitors will need to show proof of vaccination to enter the festival or will need to obtain a negative coronavirus test which will be valid throughout the weekend, local health officials said.

Documentation will be checked daily at the entrance. A photo of a client’s vaccination card or a negative test result recorded on their mobile phone is sufficient. Face masks are mandatory for all indoor festival spaces including, but not limited to The Spa and The Club. Masks are recommended in outdoor festival spaces but are not mandatory, as per state guidelines.
